Refinishing and holding the floor

Adela was an unbeknownst master interior floor refinisher. When she saw a flawed floor, she knew it had to be refinished and fixed. It was a metaphor for her life and the issues that she dealt with on a regular basis. Human rights is not a spectator profession and Adela got her hands deeply into all she worked on. Her work ethic allowed nothing less than restoring the floor or issue to its original intended state. We refinished a couple of floors on the East Coast and the Midwest, never delving from the task at hand, and focusing with laser precision on meeting equipment rental deadlines and project milestones. Last time we spoke, we thought about partaking in an after floor renovation celebration, but we’re both too tired and satisfied with our hard work and end result. The celebration was in the work. I’ll always celebrate our hard work and her commitment and dedication to her life’s work in Human Rights. Go with peace.
