In our early days in Los Angeles Adela and I were members of a poetry performance group. We built an enthusiastic following performing in coffee houses, museums, night clubs, and even real live theaters. We were a "critics pick" in the L.A. Weekly! At one point we were approached by a producer/manager to make a recording of our poetry. This photo was taken for the backside of the album cover. It was toward the end of our performance career when our group had three members, Adela, Maria and I.
